-- The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports on the upcoming Winter Warmer Fest and the decision by the I-X Center to retool the International Beer Fest and combined it with the Fabulous Food Show in the fall. "We originally set out to launch the largest beer fest in the Midwest," Jeremy Levine, director of events for the center, told the newspaper. "We accomplished that goal, but not without sacrifice. -- The Boston Globe has a story about Boston Beer Co. finally deciding to put its beer in a can -- a project dubbed Bunker Hill. “We thought Jim [Koch] would eventually change his mind and he’d just come around,” Jay Billings, director of innovation and marketing for Ball, a Colorado canning company that packages Oskar Blues and 150 other craft brewers’ products, told the newspaper.
