barleysangels2Burning River Barley's Angels, an organization for women who enjoy and want to learn more about craft beer, will hold its inaugural event from 7 to 10 p.m. Jan. 12 at the ABC Tavern in Cleveland. The event will feature a three-course beer pairing dinner guided by ABC Tavern owner Trace Althoff. Tickets are $25.

The Burning River Barley's Angels chapter was founded last month by local hombrewer Heather Ramsey "as she recognized the female contingent of beer lovers in Cleveland," a news release said. There are Barley's Angels chapters in six countries. The Cleveland chapter is the only one in Ohio, according to the website.
