Jackie O's Pub & Brewery in Athens has posted a short, new video about its bottle release party held in mid-December. The video captures the excitement of the day, when the brewpub sells special beers in 22-ounce bombers. (See video below.)

The quarterly bottle release parties have become major events for the brewpub, as beer fans have traveled hundreds of miles or more to take part. It's no wonder given Jackie O's reputation. It was ranked last year as the 56th best brewery in the world by Ratebeer.com.

Meanwhile, brewer Brad Clark reports that he plans to start brewing at the new Jackie O's production brewery next week. Jackie O's is opening a separate production brewery and tasting room from the brewpub.
