wwaf_eventbriteThe Downtown Cleveland Alliance will hold its third annual Winter Wine & Ale Fest from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 24) in the lobby of the Huntington Bank on Public Square. The event follows downtown's Winterfest.

Winter Wine & Ale Fest features wine and beer from more than 20 local wineries and craft breweries paired with food from downtown restaurants, including Parallax, Table 45, L’Albatros, Chinato, Cowell & Hubbard, Greenhouse Tavern, Noodlecat and Pura Vida.

“Winter Wine & Ale Fest is the perfect nightcap for a day of tremendous activity on Public Square,” Joe Marinucci, president and CEO of Downtown Cleveland Alliance, said in a prepared statement. “The proceeds from Winter Wine & Ale Fest help DCA connect with the homeless community and assist them with the services they need to find jobs and permanent housing.”

Tickets are $50 per person (must be over 21), and include 20 taste tickets and unlimited food. Entertainment will be provided by 87.7 FM.

Proceeds from the evening's festivities will benefit DCA’s Generocity Cleveland Initiative, which funds programs and services provided by DCA and its faith-based partners to the homeless of downtown Cleveland.

The participating breweries are: The Brew Kettle, Cellar Rats, Columbus, Elevator, Fat Head's, Great Lakes, Indigo Imp, Lager Heads, Ohio, Rivertown, RooBrew, Thirsty Dog and Willoughby.
